What can be determined from the magnitude of the slope of a distance versus time graph? A. acceleration B. force C. speed D. velocity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope of a velocity= acceleration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a slope of something means the rate of it.... so rate of distance is speed......

OpenStudy (sydthekid913):

I thought it was C or D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is D.....

OpenStudy (sydthekid913):

ok thank you so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i should be careful with world.....a slope of something means the rate of it.... so rate of distance is velocity......

OpenStudy (sydthekid913):

ok that's what I thought but I wasn't sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it said the direction in which it was going then it would be velocity; however, in this case it doesn't so it is just speed C

OpenStudy (sydthekid913):

O it was D I got it right sorry :{
