whats the question?

OpenStudy (cicilybailey14):

No need to get snippy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = 7x − 8 y = 5x − 2 Part A: Explain how you will solve the pair of equations by substitution or elimination. Show all the steps and write the solution. Part B: If the two equations are graphed, at what point will the lines representing the two equations intersect? Explain your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you solving both equations together or separately?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

seperatly

okay one sec

@srgntb0$$ heres for part 1 y = 7x - 8 7x - 8 = y 7x - 8 + 8 = y + 8 7x = y + 8 7x/7 = 7 + 8/7 x = 1/7y + 8/7 y = 5x - 2 5x - 2 = y 5x - 2 + 2 = y + 2 5x = y + 2 5x/5 = y +2/5 x = 1/5y + 2/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now for part 2 you just need to graph your equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it has to use elimination or substitution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and idk how to do that i not good at math plz help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):
