When your doing absolute value functions, what does it mean when there's a - before the |x|.... for example: y=-|x-4|

it means nothing special just a minus in front maybe this will clear things simple y=|x| looks like|dw:1416501269535:dw| but y=-|x| will be just a inverted graph, it will look like|dw:1416501330133:dw|
