In the poem "Listening to jazz now" by Jimmy Santiago Baca, explain why the author says "I'm happy."

answers.com says reading his poem, i think hes saying "im happy" because "listening to jazz now" is what makes him happy and the visuals hes giving you about his friend and the dog and the sunshining is what makes him happy. thats just how i see it though, i hope i helped out a little
