How do I get more fans and fan testimonials?

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

by answering more questions, helping people learn, interact with people, being nice, etc

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Just like sleepyhead said, and forgot one more thing though....You have to be awesome like me;) Just kidding! Everyone's awesome!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haaaa yea @YanaSidlinskiy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An thanks to the both of you

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

You can send them a message. @nicktid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

? I dont get it @confluxepic

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Send them a message that says, "Can you please write me a testimonial."

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

^^ that is what I did to increase my testimonies... But then half the people are like, "What should I write?" or "What is a testimony?"

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Bribes... threats... but they rarely work and are more likely to get you into trouble. I get mine by helping people the best I can when I can.

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

@TheSmartOne I did that with people in my fan list who've I helped several times over. A few never answered back, but quite a few were like "Yeah, of course. You're so nice/awesome/etc." Made me feel good. :)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

xD

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

You are welcome for that suggestions..

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Oh, and another way is to become a Mod. People fan mods for no reason. Probably to track if we are on.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhh I got you @confluxepic an I try to help ppl to. And can you guys write me a testimony plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whats a mod and how do i become one @e.mccormick

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

I don't fan people unless they help me because then i get notified if you're on and it clogs up my notifications so that i can't see who i really need is on. My fan list is a select few that i'm either friends with, or they have the ability to help me. Since I am in advanced math, I usually only fan mods or 99'ers. Sorry @nicktid

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

It is short for Moderator, a person that helps regulate the content of the site, and you have to be a super great user, 18+, and be picked by the existing ones as well as get admin approval.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

My fan list is like 6 users... and all the mods.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's ok @StudyGurl14 I get wher your someing from none taken. ^.^

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

My fan list is about 36 total...all of them have smart scores of at least 80, with the exception of surry99 and sangya21 and WolfWhisper. surry99 is a genius in chem, sangya is really smart and will become a 99er in the future, and WolfWhisper is a close friend in real life.

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

If you ever need help @nicktid feel free to tag me. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think I can be a mod just yet I'm still much to new and I'm only at level 60

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure thing thanks @StudyGurl14

OpenStudy (taylev105):

@e.mccormick

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

well if you want more fans, testimonials, you need to be helpful to the other users of OpenStudy. I always say Be true, Be you. Just be yourself. People will like you. If you're really helpful and you get people to understand what they ask, you'll get more fans and testimonials. I find that if you give a testimony to one user, they usually give one back to you. Hope this helps :)

Thank you @k_lynn
