Dee is buying lilies to use in centerpieces for a special dinner. Each centerpiece will have three lilies. There are a total of ten tables. After a discount for buying in bulk, each lily costs $.92. Use the distributive property to figure the cost of the lilies.

3 times .92 times 10

im most likely wrong though

That is correct, but I would do it the other way to get the "big" numbers out. 10 Tables need 3 lilies each. 10 x 3= 30. now you do 30 x 0.92 for the cost of all the lilies, and there you go. Don't forget your label, dollars ($) and cents!
