im pretty sure that's an eighth note and it is 2 beats, I think..

But an eighth not has one half a beat. and it looks like two eighths so i thought it mightve been a double eighth

I also looked up images of music notes, idk if it'll help or not.  but I do know the 16th notes which have the double line, and have of that is 8, so I would think its a 8th note
