Help writing a thesis statement for a compare/contrast essay? I'm doing an essay comparing and contrasting between the traits of Benewingspan from Much ado about nothing and the traits of Brutus from the trajedy of julius caesar. Our teacher gave us this fill in the blank to use: " In ____(title of work)____, Shakespeare uses____(literary device, ie. diction, imagery, etc.)____ to __(marker verb: reveal, portray--the writer's opinion about the subject that must be proven). I dont want to use this exact prompt, but am having trouble rephrasing it. Any help?
