OpenStudy (campbell_st):

find the 1st derivative since it is a velocity equation... 1st derivative of velocity is acceleration. then substitute t = 3 that give the acceleration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh its not -1

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well v'(t) = -2t + 5 now substitute t = 3 v'(3) = -2*3 + 5
