According to a survey in 2009, 37 % of college graduates in Ontario said that their income
was not what they expected. Assuming that this percentage is true for the current year, let
be the proportion of students in a random sample of 300 who will say that their salary was
not what they expected. Calculate the mean and standard deviation of and comment on the
shape of its population.
