The Triangle Ques:
When you apply the formula for area of triangle, it doesn't matter where it is taken.
Height is actually the perpendicular distance between any vertex to the opposite side.

for the other ques break the figure into parts and apply formulae for area of triangle and square and rectangle for the area of parts and it will give you the answer.
