OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

What role did the Jacobins play in the French Revolution? A. The Jacobins reached an agreement with moderate French leaders to end the revolution. B. The Jacobins opened French government to full participation by women. C. The Jacobins returned France to a monarchy by supporting Napoleon. D. The Jacobins instituted a radicalized government in France.

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

I know that C is incorrect. It has to be A B or D, but I don't know which one.

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

@SolomonZelman @iambatman Please help.

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

Jacobins: went around guillotining everyone. They were the major radical political party, and once they took power they started de-Christianising everything, getting really tight on 'counter-revolutionaries', and they introduced the Committee of Public Safety (who were the people who actually started guillotining, like, *everyone*)

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

So its D?

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

Yes :)

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

Thanks. :]

OpenStudy (toots):

D - The Jacobins instituted a radicalized government in France.
