Well, it's not B or C because it doesn't pass the vertical line test. (If you placed a vertical line on the graph, it shouldn't intersect two points) So that narrows things down for you. Vertical lines aren't functions either. So what does that leave you with?

if you plugged x = 3 into the "function" for choice A, what is the output? y = 0? y = 1? y = 2? You need to have exactly one output for any given input.
