log(1000x) Expand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you familiar with log properties?

Nnesha (nnesha):

is that the whole question ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think this property would be useful here: log ( a * b) = log(a) + log(b) here, you can take a = 1000 and b = x. Hope this helos!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea thats the whole question and kind of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know what to do after that though

Nnesha (nnesha):

yeah right

Nnesha (nnesha):

1000 x is multiplying to expand your have to use + sign and for example if you have 1000/x then you have to use "-" sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm really confused I put log(1000)+log(x) as an answer and its wrong, i'm not sure what to do still

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1000x

Nnesha (nnesha):

base

Nnesha (nnesha):

wait ----

Nnesha (nnesha):

i don't know why its wrong may be you plug that wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):
