OpenStudy (loser66):

Let f(x,y) =(3/16) xy^2 \(0\leq x\leq 2\) and \(0\leq y\leq 2\) find \(P(X\leq Y)\) Please, help

OpenStudy (zarkon):

where are you stuck?

OpenStudy (loser66):

I don't know how to do, before it, I got \(f_X(x) \), \(f_Y(y)\) , V(x) ,V(y)

OpenStudy (loser66):

Do I have to draw the graph out?

OpenStudy (zarkon):

integrate over this region |dw:1416620921358:dw|

OpenStudy (loser66):

How to get that graph? it looks like y w.r.t. x, not f(x,y) w.r.t x, y

OpenStudy (zarkon):

you want x<y graph x=y then shade the region where x<y

OpenStudy (zarkon):

obviously trapped between 0 and 2 0<x<2 and 0<y<2

OpenStudy (loser66):

Ok, Goooot you. Thanks a lot. ;)
