how can i create a scrapbook on the famous mathematicians? i need help it is for my math project.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

You can get all sorts of things that relate to Blaise Pascal and other nut-jobs who may have spent their time in suicide contemplation of proving God via mathematics. You might be interested in Emmy Noether and Sofia Kovalevskaya - and not just because they are women, but because they were awesome AND fought against the prevailing society to exclude them. You could also pick on John Venn and discuss whether he deserves to have Venn Diagrammes named after him. Or, you could look up George Bernard Dantzig and find out about two very strange unsolvable statistics problems. Maybe you would be interested in Bertrand Russel and Alfred North Whitehead who sort of set out to write a book without words. Or maybe Paul Erdös, who was so prolific and well-travelled that it became almost a joke (a good joke) to publish a paper with him. Look up the "Erdõs Number". It's hilarious. Just pick out stuff that is interesting to you.
