A layer of peat beneath the glacial sediments of the last ice age has a carbon-14/carbon-12 ratio that is 21.2% of that found in living organisms. I have put in the answers 12,823 years, 12,823.817, 12,745, 12,822, and 12,822,959 and they have all been marked wrong by my homework software, what's the issue? I used the equation A=Aoe^(-kt) and solved for t using the k=ln(2)/T to find the k for this particular half life decay reaction.
