What is the equation of a line that passes through (-2, -1) and (-4, -3)?

\(\color{pink}{welcome :) to :) open :) study}\)

Nnesha (nnesha):

do you know the formula to find slope ???

Nnesha (nnesha):

if you don't its ok tell me so we can continue :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't really understand any of it - I read you when presented with this type of question the first set (-2, -1) is the vertical line where y=a and the second set (-4, -3) is y=b .... but no comprehension what to do with that / what it means

Nnesha (nnesha):

ok you have to find line slope intercept form which is y = mx + b where m is slope which is always with x and b is y-intercept

Nnesha (nnesha):

so first find slope slope formula is |dw:1416679575384:dw| now plug this point into the formula and then solve let me know what you get after this
