What does it mean when the question is a line over z? Doing a section on complex polar numbers... I think it means magnitude but I'm not sure.

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

does it look like this \[\bar z\]

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

got picture?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@FibonacciChick666 Yeah

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

@DurableToaster, if it does, it means the complex conjugate

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

so the complex conjugate works like this, if \[z=4+3i\] then \[\bar z=4-3i\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

brb if more questions
