why rna primase is used instead of dna primase in dna replication?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Rnas are always used as initiators either during dna replication Or protein synthesis or the activity of telomerases both of which donot need an external rna to attach but themselves have rna strand. One reason is might be our body has more free rna than dna and other reson might be that a rna strand is unstable and to get stabalized it must be bound to dna
