is every number next to a multiple of 6 a prime number

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Hmm... when you say "next to" do you mean in numerical order-wise? :\ Idek.

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

6 ......... 12, 13, .......18, 19....24, 25 (not a prime)?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

What about 25? O_o

OpenStudy (bibby):

I think they mean on the right of

OpenStudy (bibby):

13,19,etc.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

yeah numbers of form `6k+1`

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Haha, I never knew how to write out the "general format" , i.e `6k+1` when I was learning these, so I'd write out numbers to fit the question. Lmao.
