\(\sf \Large \color{red}{Q~ \#1~ - ~Can~ I~ delete~ my~ OpenStudy ~account?}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{A ~\#1~-}\) Sorry, but no. Deleting your OpenStudy account can mess up some things in the system, such as other user's SmartScore, questions answered, medals received, fans, etc. One way you can 'disable' your account is to turn off your notifications sent to your email through the settings, then change you password to random letters, such as 'ifgbweufovh'. Then you can log out and you most likely won't be able to access your account. You can also ask a mod to permanently suspend your OpenStudy account to 'disable' it. \(\sf \Large \color{red}{Q~ \#2~-~ The~post~button~keeps~on~disappearing.}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{~What~do~I~do?}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{A ~\#2~-}\) There is a simple solution to solve this besides refreshing the page and then losing everything you have typed. Just click Tab then Enter (Tab+Enter). Problem Solved! \(\sf \Large \color{red}{Q~\#3~-~How~do~I~get~more~fans/fan~testimonials?}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{A ~\#3~-}\) You can get more fans and testimonials by helping users, interact with people in the chats, be polite and nice, and remember to be awesome! (@YanaSidlinskiy way of getting fans ;D ) Users will fan you and give you testimonials if you help them, be nice, or just by interacting with people! Their testimonials will be about how helping, kind, and funny you are just by doing that! \(\sf \Large \color{red}{Q~\#4~-~Can~I~change~my~username?}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{A ~\#4~-}\) Same as deleting your account. It can mess up the system, but you can make a new account and start over with the username you want :) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{Q~\#5~-~How~do~I~become~a~mod/ambassador?}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{A ~\#5~-}\) You can become a mod if you are 18 or older, you are and act mature, have a good abuse record (no suspensions, warnings, etc.), you are on the site for a fair amount of time, get along with other users (such as being calm when dealing with a situation), be an expert at some field, and if you reach these requirements, and the site is looking for new mods, you might just be chosen! You can become an Ambassador if you follow the rules of the CoC, welcome and reach out to new users and show them how to use OpenStudy (also explaining the CoC), and also to be polite to other users in different situations. Don't forget you must be 13 or older! Also remember asking to become a mod/ambassador decreases your chances of becoming one yourself! \(\sf \Large \color{red}{Q~\#6~-~How~do~I~raise~my~SmartScore~(SS)?}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{A ~\#6~-}\) You can raise your SmartScore in many different ways, such as answering questions, inviting users, getting fans/fan testimonials, getting medals for helping a user, and by asking questions and getting medals for them! \(\sf \Large \color{red}{Q~\#7~-~Why~is~there~black~diamonds~~with}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{question~marks~in~my~thread?}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{A ~\#7~-}\) This is just some problem OpenStudy has had for a little while. This usually happens when you copy something and then paste it here on OpenStudy, and there is a symbol, quotation marks, and sometimes dashes in the text you copied. A solution to solve this is to refresh after you have posted what you want. You can also retype some symbols that you think would end up as black diamonds with '?'s'. :) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{Q~\#8~-~Why~do~some~people~have~a~diamond~}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{shaped~SmartScore~and~some~have~a~circle~}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{shaped~SmartScore?}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{A ~\#8~-}\) There is different meanings behind the circle shaped SmartScore and the diamond shaped SmartScore. Users with a circled SmartScore is user that has not subscribed to OpenStudy, but user with a diamond shaped SmartScore shows that they have subscribed to OpenStudy. What is subscribing and how do you suscribe? Well, subscribing is a way of donating money to OpenStudy. After subscribing, you can get a choice to choose your own name title that appears by your username, have no ads on OpenStudy, and lastly have a diamond shaped SmartScore. You have the access to subscribe to OpenStudy through your settings. Once you have gone into your settings click 'Account Settings', then it will show you your account settings. After that you will see a section that is titled 'Subscription'. Take a look at this screenshot for more info. http://prntscr.com/59jthl Anymore questions? Ask below!

\(\sf \Large \color{red}{Q~\#9~-~What~is~the~CoC?}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{A~\#9~-}\) CoC stands for Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct is the ruled of OpenStudy which you should read and follow! It explains all the rules and the Goal of OpenStudy. You can read the CoC here -> http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct \(\sf \Large \color{red}{Q~\#10~-~What~is~'Days~Studied'~on~my~profile}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{mean?}\) \(\sf \Large \color{red}{A~\#10~-}\) 'Days Studied' on your profile is the amount of days you have logged into OpenStudy. If you login only once and never login again, you'll have only 1 day studied, but if you login and logout every day, you will have the exact amount of days you have been on OpenStudy.
