@e.mccormick anime is universal and popular, more people would be able to appreciate the music when they have a connection from where it's from.
the general public might not be able to appreciate the Doppler, Hindemith, or Bizet as much. although Jiggly's soundcloud does include them.

@e.mccormick , wasn't Karas one of those short-lived by highly praised sequences like FLCL? I remember seeing it a few times at Blockbuster before they shut down; but I was approximately 11 and my mother kept turning it down because it was R-17, but I might give it a watch now.

Karas was an anniversary special, so they put a lot into making it really well done and a complete story. It has incredible art as well as a great story, but is only something like 6 episodes.
