Which was an argument for independence used in the pamphlet Common Sense? A. Britain's laws had helped the colonies, but it was time to break away for economic reasons. B. The colonies needed Britain economically but should be able to govern themselves. C. Monarchy is a poor form of government and the colonies would be better off without it. D.
