Explain transformation and transduction. What kingdom uses these processes?

Bacteria share their genetic material in three ways: transformation, transduction, or conjugation.

In transformation, bits of genetic material in the bacteria’s environment (possibly from other destroyed bacterium) are taken in and incorporated into the genetic material of the bacteria. The bacteria replicates this genetic material and passes it on during binary fusion.
In transduction, a virus passes on genetic material from one bacterium to another.
In conjugation, a bridge-like connection forms between bacteria and they transfer genetic material through this bridge.
