Hi There! Wrong section of open study sadly. Try posting in history next time! But I'll answer to the best of my ability's!

The US wanted a weak government because they feared they would revert to the ways of the english government. We broke apart because we wanted a say in our laws and we wanted fair trials and we wanted to choose our leaders. In an effort to make it weak it was actually made sorta too weak. Eventually, we did get to where we are today. Hope this helped!
