Whats an arithmetic sequence

Hey @XHeatherrr_ an arithmetic sequence or progression is something like this 2,4,6,8..... it is the kind of a sequence that follow a pattern of adding or subtracting a number to a previous term to get to next term that number is called common difference like the example that i wrote we are adding each time 2 to get to next number and so on
