the Total area is the sum of all the sides areas
OpenStudy (anonymous):
find the area of each side and sum up and know that there are equal sides there so no need to over compute some area couple of times
OpenStudy (anonymous):
the areas you have are 5 by 6 3 by 5 and 3 by 6
OpenStudy (anonymous):
3(5)(2)=30 3(6)(2)=36 (5)(6)(2)=60 30+36+60=126
