What is the horizontal asymptote of (2)/(x-2)(x-4)

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

When the degree of the polynomial in the numerator is less than the degree of a polynomial in the denominator the horizontal asymptote is y=0. If they are the same, it is the ratio of leading coefficients; if greater, there is no horizontal asymptote.

So whAts it 2?

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

No, if the denominator gets larger and larger while the numerator stays at 2, what happens to the value of the fraction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is no h.a.?

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

As the denominator of a fraction goes to infinity, the value of the fraction goes to zero.
