Draw a number line from zero to one. Divide the number line into four sections. Mark the first section .25, the second section .5, the third section .75 and the fourth section 1. Convert the fraction into a decimal using your calculator. To convert 1/2 to decimal, enter 1 into the calculator and then divide by 2. Your calculator should read .5 or .5 with some zeros after it, .500000. Convert the 1/9 to decimal using the same process as you did with 1/2. Your calculator should read .1 with some repeating ones after the .1, .1111 etc. Round the .111111 etc to .11. Enter .11 on the line graph. Is .11 closer to 0 or .5 If it's closer to zero then your answer is zero. If it is closer to .5, then your answer will be 1/2
