If tan x = -0.5 then tan (pi+x) = ? Fill in the blank

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

since tangent has a period of pi, this means tan(pi+x) = tan(x) for all values of x (for allowed domain values)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

because tan(x) = -0.5, we know... tan(pi+x) = tan(x) tan(pi+x) = -0.5

@jim_thompson5910 OH YEA! Thank you so much

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you're welcome
