Science help: What did you observe happened when a P-wave traveled from a solid to a liquid? What did you observe happened when an S-wave traveled into a liquid? Describe how a primary wave moves. Describe how a secondary wave moves. How do earthquakes help us learn about the interior of the Earth?

Has anyone done this before? Please help!

@brucebaner

OpenStudy (brucebaner):

1) What did you observe happened when a P-wave traveled from a solid to a liquid? When it reached the liquid it cached a higher speed 2) What did you observe happened when an S-wave traveled into a liquid? The S- wave disappeared 3) In your own words, describe how a primary wave moves. P-waves moves in a up and down motion 4) In your own words, describe how a secondary wave moves. S-waves move vertically and horizontally. 5) How do earthquakes help us learn about the interior of the Earth? It helps because you can tell whether one layer is liquid or solid bases on the S and P waves.
