OpenStudy (star_girl):

Help Please!!!!! What is the value of y?

OpenStudy (star_girl):

(3y+13) (5y-5) (2y+2)

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

without some sort of equality this is not solvable, did you copy the question correctly?

OpenStudy (star_girl):

Yes though the equations are in a triangle. (3y+13) is in the top left, (5y-5) in the top right, and (2y+2) bottom tip.

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

can you draw it please? That is only useful in certain triangles

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

ie, we need an equilateral, special right, or isoceles

OpenStudy (star_girl):

It won't let me draw or else I would have done it already. It is shaped like a ice cream cone.

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

|dw:1416890174462:dw| Like that?

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

does it state it is isosceles or that any sides are equal?
