Your table should looks like this: \[\begin{array}{|c|c|c|} \hline &7~-~12&13-18\\ \hline Pop&&\\ \hline Rock&&\\ \hline Jazz&&\\ \hline \end{array}\] And we know that out of the 200 students in the age group 7-12 years who participated in the survey, 142 liked rock or pop music, We could just say that all of them like rock. So we have: \[\begin{array}{|c|c|c|} \hline &7~-~12&13-18\\ \hline Pop&0&\\ \hline Rock&142&\\ \hline Jazz&&\\ \hline \end{array}\] And we know that total of them are 200. So what should be in Jazz for 7-12?
