The walking catfish, or Clarias batrachus, is an invasive species that can migrate over land. Which of the following describes the most likely long-term consequence of the introduction of the walking catfish? (1 point) The walking catfish will become unable to survive in its native territory as it continues to migrate. Dissolved oxygen levels will increase as more fish are able to breathe and survive above water. Native fish populations will decline and possibly become extinct as they compete for food and space. Larger fish will overpopulate due to the presence of an additiional food source

Hmm..it sounds like it could be any of these. However, invasive species are usually known to harm the ecosystem instead of help it..so that pretty much removes D and A..which leaves you with B and C..

OpenStudy (igreen):

B doesn't really make any sense at all..lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok..... i think it is a then right?

OpenStudy (igreen):
