HELP !!!! PLEASE FAST!!!
Determine whether the problem should be solved using Arithmetic Sequence, Arithmetic Series, Geometric Sequence Or Geometric Series.
You DO NOT have to solve: A) Jackie Deposited $5 Into a checking account in February for each month following, The deposite amount was doubled. How much money was deposited into the checking account in the month of august? I think its geometric sequence And can you explain to me how to create the equation?

okay, a sequence is a list of numbers while a series is a sum of numbers, because you're not adding up all of the amounts from each month, this is a sequence. Make sense?
so geometric sequence is right?
yeah, it's a sequence, because you're not adding things together. The final amount in the bank is just the final number in the squence. It's geometric and not arithmetic, because you're multiplying and not adding or subtracting
yes, geometric sequence is right lol
okay so now that i have that i need to see if you can explain to me how to create the equation for it?
ummmm no.....not really sure about that... I mean, I can explain what the amount is and why it is what it is... but there's an actual formula with a Greek E that you need to know...that's what I've forgotten.... sorry
crap okay thanks.
@jordanloveangel
what do u need help with?
to make an equation for this question.

i Cant read any of that website...
2 down vote accepted There are many ways to show convergence/divergence of a series. Try the ratio test, the root test, the comparison test, or the integral test just to name a few. See here or here for a more thorough listing of tests for convergence. In this particular case, the comparison test will be best. It may help to note that −1≤sin(n)≤1 so that 1≤2+sin(n)≤3.
so its this what i should say to my teacher when i have my Discussion based assessment?
@campbell_st can you help me on this one?
sure look at the deposits $5, $10, $20,$40.... which type of series relies on the previous term being multiplied....
well i already know its geometric sequence i just need help explaining how to make an equation for it...
well a term in a geometric sequence is \[a_{n} = a_{1} \times r^{n - 1}\] you know the 1st deposit, you also know the common ratio... and n is the number of months feb = 1 mar = 2 apr = 3...... substitute them and calculate
can you do it for me and after my dba ill learn it? I keep putting my teacher off. And shes getting upset.. I need to do it before 3:10.. :/
im sorry i usually wouldnt ask for someone todo this...
no sorry, that would be contrary to the code of conduct ... giving answers... I've been suspended for that
omg. Im going to fail this Class if i dont hurry up and do this .. Im about to cry foreal! I dunno what im going to do.. my teacher is calling again.
