Just 2 OS suggestions i have to make OS better.

1. Suggestion is: I see allot of OS users just make accounts and as soon as they get their answer they never come back......... so why dont we make a filter that says when the users was last on and then after a month or two it automatically sends them a email to the email they signed up with and that says something like "Your fellow owls miss you and loved the outstanding help you gave, so come by it's always an honor to work with you". I've talked to a bunch of users that were gone for months and they tell me they even forgot about Open Study. So maybe this will help OS improve.

Suggestion 2: I also see in the dead subject sections that the subjects are over flowing with spam posts and most users take advantage of dead subjects cause people are mostly in live subjects so no one reports those dead subject posts and they stay opened so why dont we give each post with in a month of being open and when the month is up it closes by it self. This will cause allot less spam and more fresher questions so we can answer.

hmm then maybe mods and ambi's can take off the 1 month thing plus i dont think that people are going to be bumping a tutorial every day for months

It isnt lyke I don't trust Os, but there are hackers that could steal your information

For suggestion 2 I think it should be limited to 1 week unless the user appeals it to a mod or administarator who can extend the time if neccesary.

i like both suggestions :)
and when i first read suggestion 2, i misread it to seem like you were closing the whole subject after a month lol. but that gave me the idea to bring more people to those dead subjects. maybe we could do a "subject of the month" and OS chooses a random subject and for a week out of every month, you get double the medals?

oh wait i just thought of spamming threads lol. i thought it was a good idea at first, but i guess people would abuse it and post spam questions just for the medals :/ idk... what do you guys think?

I like the first suggestion, but I don't really care about the second suggestion, you can just ignore the spam, and if it's a dead section, seems a lot of work for nothing.

Don't think that suggestion would evoke much effort and love to this site. You either are here and participate (without any emails) or you wouldn't come here just because of some automatically toned web message.
