How would I divide this? X+3 divided by x^2+7x+12

OpenStudy (phi):

I would try to factor the bottom

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can factor x^2+7x+12, or you can do long division. but since x^2+7x+12 is factorable, you should factor it first and see if any of the factors have (x+3)
