Find the horizontal or oblique asymptote of f(x) = -2x^2 + 3x + 6/x+1 y = -1 y = -2 y = 2x + 3 y = -2x + 5

OpenStudy (freckles):

that is (-2x^2+3x+6)/(x+1)?

OpenStudy (freckles):

if so the deg on top is one more than the deg on botton you can find the oblique asymptote by dividing top by bottom
