(sin^3x)(cosx)

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

hmm...

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

\[(\sin^3 (x)) = (1-\cos^2(x))(\sin(x))\]

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Maybe you could use that? Not sure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i find the zero for the function ?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

if your function is f(x) = (sin^3x)(cosx) the zeros of the function, are the x's that satisfy 0 = (sin^3x)(cosx) with a product equal to zero, one of the multiplicands must be equal to zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the next step to solve for X?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

cos x = 0 or sin^3x = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks
