if we pass current through sea water from a high voltage power supply ,can we damage ships at the sea,and fish and sea creatures may die?is it possible practically.i heared in my chemistry lab current can flow through sea water better than normal water because of minerals .please answer my question immidiately any one please.thank u.i am waiting for ur answer............................harish

I am not a genius or anything but hypothetically I would think it would be possible. The salt increases the conductivity of water (This I know from an electrolysis experiment I did when I was younger.). However, to actually get enough current to kill the fish in the sea would be a theoretical case to me.
