Amy and her sister are making lemonade for the school dance. Their recipe makes 2 quarts of lemonade. If they make 35 times the recipe, how many gallons of lemonade will Amy and her sister have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hint : there is 4 quarts in a gallon . all you have to do is multiply

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in gallon there is 4 quarts. If they make 35 times the lemonade recipe and each make 2 quarts so 35*2 =70 now divide 70 by 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So there is 4 quarts in one gallon so times 2 by 35 then divide by 4 there is your answer.
