b= 5a - 4 which literal equation is equivalent to this? a= 4b + 5 a = -5 + 4b a = b + 4 / 5 a = b - 4 / 5 How do I solve this?

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

what do you think ?? any guesses ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha honestly, I haven't studied at all and need to do this test within a certain amount of time ;-; I'll try to think of something

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

ohkk !! i will tell you how to solve this question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much x~x I don't expect answers, just a walk through on how I'd go about solving it.

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

\[\large \bf b=5a-4\] \[\large \bf Add~+4~To~both~the~sides\] \[\large \bf b+4=5a\]

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

now, divide both sides by `5`,we get \[\large \bf a=\frac{b+4}{5}\]

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

so this is our answer :) ^^^

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

option C is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, okay! Thank you c:

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

welcome :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):
