I HAVE A QUESTION?!!?! when something is constant on a line graph, it's a straight line, correct?
specifically, a horizontal line
what else could it be @piercetheveil47?
okay, so like in a real life situation if it was a graph of a buses speed, the bus would have stopped, creating a horizontal line?
and i was just reassuring myself lmao. @skullpatrol
Think about the variables you are graphing.
my question is saying "what part of the graph did the bus driver most likely stop?" the point A is constant, and is that the point the bus driver stopped? I think yes but not sure
What is being graphed on the diagram? Is it distance versus time?
yes

yes, that is the graph but at part B it is a straight line
Think about what is happening as time moves forward: 1, 2, 3, 4,...
so if it just becomes horizontal, that means it stopped right?
because it is not going up or slowing down?

Yes, if the distance is not changing, as measured from a fixed point, then how can it be moving with respect to that point?
hah ok thats all i was wondering,if i was correct or not.
