Dude jumping genes are transposable elements or transposons that are usually present in herterocromatin region these genes have ability to cut them selves from the gene and travell to the expressible gene like eucromatin and gets ligated .EG:- when u where born u had some gene that where expressed which are not now like the lactase now u don't have it,it is because gene coding lactase is a transposon that gets shifted to heterocromatin after an age but no one know what stimulates it
