How many solutions (using only nonnegative integers) are there to the following equation? x1+x2+x3+x4+x5=36

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's not a polynomial

OpenStudy (amistre64):

we can start with the smallest/largest setup: 1+2+3+4+26 then adjust in some fashionable manner i spose but nothing simple comes to mind 1,3,4,5,23 2,3,4,5,22 etc ...

To clarify the question, we might need to know if order matters, and if each element is distinct i.e., can numbers be repeated.
