OpenStudy (anonymous):

all of the follofollowing are sources of energy except: a) stored ATP b) alcoholic fermentation c) lactic acid fermentation d) cellular respiration

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

Stored ATP

OpenStudy (confusionist):

Uh, I'm actually thinking cellular respiration. Stored ATP is stored energy. Cellular respiration is the act of making the energy to store, not stored energy itself.

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

cellular respiration is a source of creating energy. stored ATP is not a source of producing energy. it's just stored.

OpenStudy (confusionist):

Cellular respiration is, therefore, not stored energy. It is a source of creating energy like you said. Stored ATP is "just stored" and it's known as the energy currency of the cell. The only way I might agree and say Stored ATP is in fact the answer is if you considered the currency coin when. It is the stored coin to gain energy, not the energy itself. However that's a little deeper than the question was asking.

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

Just be direct, as the question is. I say stored ATP for the answer. Don't want to confuse the person who asked the question by going to far when it was not asked of.

OpenStudy (confusionist):

I didn't go too far. If anything, you did. I gave the most obvious, simple answer. I'm sorry if me defending my argument irritates you?
