I am finding the roots of 9x^3 + 18 x^2 - 135x, I have gotten -3 and 5 but is 0 a zero as well?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

So lets start from setting, \(\large\color{black}{ x^3 + 18 x^2 - 135x=0 }\) You see all terms have x in common, right ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

first thing you have to find GCF

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[9x^3 + 18 x^2 - 135x\] \[9x(x^2+2-15)\] \[9x(x+3)(x-5)\]

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Cool!

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

you did one mistake though, that was a typo. 2x . second line
