As the Cold War era unfolded, emotions ran high, including accusations and suspicions about the motives of one’s enemies. Compare and contrast the moral arguments made about global conditions. In what ways did views on the world differ depending on the history of one’s country during the previous 100 years and the ideological/moral standpoint that leaders developed as a result? In what ways did the views of individuals representing the Soviet Union and those representing the U.S. sound similar to each other in terms of their argumentation and moral tone?
