The figure is a pentagon, a pentagon has an area of \(540°\)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
You can try a method of plug and play, meaning you try each answer choices as \(x\). Once you have a total that is equal to 540 degrees that value for \(x\) is your answer.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok thank you so much!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
You are welcome.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i tried all of them and none of them were equal to 540

Okay, show me how you tried it.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i tried by getting each answer and putting it in the place of the x then i tried solving it none of the answers were 540
OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):
This is not the best way:P
the inside angles add up to equal 540, so
84+13x+6+9x-16+92+12=540
